And another thing, steel can take the heat. Not like them flimsy plastics that melt if ya get ’em too close to the fire. Steel can stand up to the sun, the fire, whatever ya throw at it. It’s tough, I tell ya, tough as old boots. They use it in places where it gets really hot, like them factories, ya know? It can take it.
They mix iron and somethin’ called carbon to make steel. I don’t know much about that carbon stuff, but I know it makes the iron stronger. It’s like addin’ a little bit of spice to a stew, makes it better, ya know? And they can bend it and shape it however they want. They heat it up and then they can bend it into any shape. It’s like magic, but I guess it’s just science or somethin’. Them city folks know how to do all sorts of fancy things.
Steel is also good for the environment. They can melt it down and use it again, ain’t that somethin’? Recycle, they call it. So, it don’t just sit around in a junkyard forever. It gets a new life, ya know, like a second chance. That’s a good thing, not wastin’ stuff is important. My mama always told me, waste not, want not.
So, if ya need somethin’ strong, somethin’ that lasts, somethin’ reliable, then ya want steel. It’s the backbone of all them big buildin’s and bridges.
