That’s what the boy said. He was always goin’ on about his “power level.” Said once you get strong enough, you start seein’ it more.
Now, where exactly? Well, that’s the tricky part. It’s kinda random, like lookin’ for mushrooms in the woods after a rain. Sometimes you find a bunch, sometimes you find nothin’. But the boy said it drops from them… uh… “enemies” he called ’em. The bad guys, you know? The ones you gotta shoot. And sometimes, he said, it’s in chests. Like them old treasure chests from pirate stories.

That Labyrinth Place and Re-doin’ Things
Then there’s this place, the “labyrinth.” Sounds scary, right? Well, the boy said if you’re stuck there, you can go back to that Ward 13 place. It’s like the home base, I guess. And you can do somethin’ called “adventure mode.” Sounds fancy, huh? It just means you can play the first area again, without messin’ up your story. Like re-readin’ a book, but you get to change things. And that’s good for gettin’ more of that iron stuff.
You Can Buy It Too, But…
Now, if you’re lazy, or just got too much of that “scrap” stuff, you can buy it. There’s this fella, Cass, in Ward 13. He’s sick though, poor fella. Roots growin’ on him or somethin’. Anyway, he sells the iron for ten scraps a piece. But the boy said that’s only good for upgradin’ your weapons a little bit. For the real good upgrades, you gotta find the stuff yourself.
What’s It For Anyway?
So, what do you need this galvanized iron for anyway? Well, it’s for makin’ your weapons better, stronger. Like puttin’ new blades on your plow, but for killin’ monsters instead of weeds. You use it for upgrades, levels 11 to 15, the boy said. Then there’s somethin’ called “hardened iron” for even higher levels, but that’s another story for another day. Seems like a whole lotta work just for a game, but he enjoys it, so who am I to judge?
It’s Tough Stuff, Like Me!
You know, this galvanized iron, it’s tough stuff. The boy said it don’t rust easy. Reminds me of myself, hah! I ain’t rusted yet, even after all these years. But yeah, that’s how it is in the game too. You need tough stuff to fight the bad guys. But remember, finding it yourself is always better.
Some Extra Tips From the Boy
He’s always yelling something about “archetypes” and leveling them up. I think it’s like learning new skills or something. Do that, and you get stronger, and the stronger you are, the more of that iron you’ll find. And don’t forget to upgrade your weapons too, that helps. It’s all connected, like a big ol’ ball of yarn. You pull one string, and the whole thing moves. Just keep playing, keep exploring, and you’ll be swimming in galvanized iron before you know it. And one last thing I think he said something about “Hot-dip method” – sounds like cooking to me – probably how they make this iron stuff in the game, but don’t worry about all that too much, you need to play more than listening to your grandma.
